On engineered the Cloudultra trail shoe with double the Cloudtec for more cushion with each step. Designers packed the midsole with On's feather-light Helion superfoam to absorb impact from uneven trail surfaces.Taking inspiration from On's responsive Cloudventure, the midsole of the Cloudultra features a snappy Speedboard to power strong takeoffs as you cruise over the trails.

The Cloudultra features an updated outsole of closed Cloud elements to keeps stones and debris out. The Missiongrip outsole uses three distinct traction patterns to provide multi-directional grip on slippery terrain.

An updated, two-layer mesh upper is durable, yet extremely breathable thanks to perforations throughout. The upper is reinforced with ultra-light TPU and uses a sock-fit construction to hug your foot and provide the support you need as you run. An all-new Flip Release tab on the laces allows you to adjust the fit and relieve pressure as your feet swell while you run over long distances.
